I just read this: "When you move into alignment with giving, you move into alignment with receiving". This makes me wonder about love. I am a very loving person, but I find myself holding back with my favorite person because I'm afraid of it being a chasing sort of energy. I don't want to be too much. I'm afraid I could drown someone in my love if I don't control it. But what if I just let if flow freely? Would it come back to me? Am I not receiving the love I want because I'm not giving the love I want?
I just got to this passage today: "Our mind often thinks that the best possible thing we could experience in this moment is ONLY the RECREATION of the best thing that has ever happened to us" "The mind keeps trying to recreate that feeling because it can't imagine something better than that happening right now" Whew, this hit me. This is why we hold on so tight to SP's because we're so afraid that's the best we will ever do.
I read this passage last night and it really hit me: “ when you stop trying to numb or fix the scared, painful emotions living inside of you, you discover that there’s nothing to run from. Those fears and difficult emotions are actually the gateway to true freedom and security. They are the gateway to real creativity. They are the gate way to you. When you’re fully meeting your fearful emotions, what you are experiencing is the momentary pain of your illusion dissolving. You’re feeling a layer mental stagnancy burning up in the presence of your awareness. You’re in the process of moving from what you used to be into what you are to become”.
I just started chapter 3 and this passage really resonates: "The ego is constantly overlooking all of the assets that are available so that it can create a reason to go chase more. If you bring awareness to all the things you have right now, you will realize you are massively abundant" This is why affirming from a place of gratitude is so important! Roxy actually talked about this during the last Mindset Monday. Here is that clip below:
